Fish ramming plants in my pond

Hi everyone, I have a goldfish in my pond and today, I noticed that it was ramming one of the plants in my pond. I have had this goldfish for years and it has never done this before? What is it doing?

Yeah, I think that might be it! My pond is full of bugs! Thanks for the reply
