Hiya,
have a tropical fish tank. recently cleaned the filter in water. when i put it back in the water, it shoots bubbles out and sounds like air pushing out of it. it is quite noisy and i dont no what to do!? shall i take it out and give it another look at? clean it again?

Sounds like air around the impellor. When you put the filter back in hold it out to the side and turn the bottom towards the surface so any trapped air can escape. It sometimes happens to mine but it doesnt last long.

You might also want to make sure to put it on the tank, fill it up with tank water then plug it in...

I was assuming it was an internal filter. What kind is it?
