today i was gazing into my tank and noticed a couple of false harlequins that kept approaching eachother, they showed all the behaviour i heard of.
fin flicking/flaring or whatever its called lol!
then they went of and swam around the tank together, and then something ive not seen them do since a week or so after i got them, stopping off at a broad leaved plant and inverting as if to deposit eggs, but when i look i see nothing, no eggs to be seen.
now i know that usually this fish only breeds in soft acidic water but i was wondering is it still normal for them to show this kind of behavior in harder more neutral water
