Fish Poo

I have 3 pearl gourami and boy can they poop - is this normal for that type of fish or is it a sign of over feeding ?

I also have floating water lettuce so could it be they are nibbling on that and it is keeping their digestive systems in overdrive ?

When I feed my corys with the sinking pellets the gourami are straight down there for a good feed as well - anyway to try and sort this out to stop them going over the top.
