okay I keep reading things about fish poo. I see that its not supposed to be white and stringy so what IS it supposed to look like? Mine go in look strings..mostly tannish but sometimes white too. what does that mean?
Long stringy white poo means constipation, internal parasite, bacterial infection.
What do you feed your fish?
Cook some frozen peas for a few minutes, let cool down and pop out of shell,
mush between fingers into small peices and add to the tank.
I feed them tetramin tropical flakes...and I tend to crush them up. I intend to start feeding bloodworms and maybe some brine shrimp once a week as soon as I buck up the money for that stuff.
Don't over feed blood worms it can make fish bloat up.
Frozen daphnia good at digesting a fish food also.
I would try the peas and if they ares till producing long stringy white
poo get back to the board.
Good luck.
