Instead of dumping my gunky water change water I decided to use it to water some of my plants. They do really well!!! Fish poo makes a good fertilizer. Some have made twice as many blooms as before since I started doing this. I wouldn't recommend it if you use a lot of chemicals though. You should are recylce your dirty water :look:

Yep! It's especially good for houseplants that are susceptible to burning with normal ferts, as well as your garden plants, although it doesn't do much for really heavy feeders like brugmansia since the concentrations are rather low.

I have been dumping mine right off my front porch into this one flower bed and the plants are THRIVING!!!! It looks like a rich luxurious bed!!!!!

I do the same with dumping it in the flower garden in the front and the plants appear to be growing better.

I have a window on each side of my fireplace, there's a flowerbed outside on the other side,I drape my hose out one of the windows and my caladiums on the 'fishy' side are fantastic! The other side... not so much. My houseplants look great too.

Yaaay for fish poop!~

I use my old fish water on my house plants as well. My dad once asked me what I fed one of my plants he saw and I said "I use my fish water" He laughed and said "Yah, that'd work" lol It's funnier when said and not typed ;)

Yeah, I'm sure my neighbors think they've got some kind of nut case living next to them, they look outside and I've got bucket after bucket coming out of my fishroom to water my gardens, it's great stuff. One of the hidden bonuses of this hobby!
