Fish Crazy
I'd like to set up a tank to combine some mild cichlids and some puffers. There seems to be lots of conflicting stuff out there on the net so here's my plan please let me know if you think it'll work or not;
In my current tank (ph is 8 and it's between 17 and 20 hardness), I plan to keep the kribs in my sig (relocating the other fish to a different tank), add salt to a gravity of 1.002 and add a pair of (orange) chromides, some Red rainbowfish, Madagascan rainbowfish, mollies and platies and two south american puffers (c.asellus). Not sure if I should keep the pleco as one website lists them as 'salt tolerant' whilst another lists them as salt intolerant. There is fairly consistent advice that chromides, kribs, rainbowfish, mollies and platies are perfectly happy in slightly brackish water ad that SA puffers are the most relaxed of the puffers.
Would appreciate thoughts from people who may have tried keeping these fish together and my plan to add a little salt.
Cheers
