Fish Pictures

I am currently in the progress of making up some information sheets on various fish including such details as: the family they belong to, temp, ph, compatability etc as a little project I am doing.

Does anyone know where I can get pictures which I can attach to these sheets without stealing them, something I don't want to do?

Advice would be appreciated.

You can go to other websites, e-mail the websites asking for permission to use "x" photo's (mention your using them for non profit purpose (if you are, if not say so). If they say yes, use them!

Lots of people love having their photos used as long as credits given where it's due....

my understanding of "public domain" is this
if a picture is on more than one site (without a © notice on it)
it is considered free for use by anyone.
however I always ask permission first, you don't always get a reply but you should at least ask.

you can also ask around on here. do searches in the members aquariums forum and then ask people if you can use there pictures.
