Fish Numbers For An Iwagumi Setup

okay because i am doing an Iwagumi setup i only one one species of fish and only one variant and that is the Neon Green Rasbora, now i want a large school of these fish 8+ they only grow to 2cm max and wondered if these fish will fit into a fluvial edge either the 23L one or 46L one, because both these tanks have the same footprint just the 46L is taller, how many can i squeeze in? i would prefer 8 to 10 if i can get more even better but not an issue and could i put more into the 46L than the 23L even tho they are the same size except the high of the tank this will be a species tank with one exception of one species of shrimp

What are the tank base measurements? According to Seriously Fish they need a tank base of 30x45cm or more.

What fish did you get in the end, Zik?

I would not put microdevario kubotai in an Edge, they may be small but they're incredibly active swimmers, mine zoom up & down their 3ft tank, plus the 2cm size given is SL & doesn't include the tail

okay thank you for that, i have decided not to go with an edge but my tank is now an ADA 60 H(45) so much much biggeR but i have decided on getting Copper Harlequin Rasboras as a species tank along with some lovely blue shrimp. but thank you lille for letting me know about the green neon's i looked at them at my lfs and wast to pleased with them tbh

well i am hoping a large school 30 maybe more being a species tank with just my blue shrimp as well but yea who knows
