I put some rummy nose tetras into my tank on Saturday. Thing is, they aren't eating. They aren't even coming up to eat. I put some Lemon Tetras in a couple weeks ago and for a couple days they just spit out what I was giving them, but at least they were trying (they eventually did start eating the food). What worries my is these rummy noses aren't even trying to eat. So it's been 4+ days and they aren't eating yet.

Otherwise they seem fine. Their noses are nice and red, they shoal around nicely with the Lemons. Is this something to worry about or will they come around? I feed the tank regular flake food and bloodworms.

29 USG tank.
6 Lemons tetras.
6 rummy-noses tetras.
2 corys.
Stats on Sunday were 0, 0, 10, 7.6ph.

Thanks,
Karl

As long as their noses are bright red, they are happy. So I wouldnt worry too much. Fish do take a while to get adjusted to their surroundings. Try feeding them live food to get them started.

Hi, I don't know if this helps or not but my Cardinal Tetras absolutely go mad for sinking Catfish Pellets. Not the discs, although they quite like those as well. Maybe if you tried that for yours? :)

The Lemon Tetras go berzerk when I feed the Corys. I give them Tetramin Tablets. I think the Lemons eat more of them than the Corys do, and this is AFTER I fed them their flakes.
