Fish Newb Help!

I know barely anything about fish. My brother, Tetraman is like, a fish expert. He said that this forum would help me with everthing i needed. Im only 11, so its not like my mom will just randomly go out and spend big bucks on me. okay, and u fish peoples, im not exactly a nerd, so PLEASE dont use big words cause i want 2 learn alot about fish. so um... thanks.
