Why are the fish poor?

Okay I'm no expert but I used to be a plumber..

Now with them toilets the cistern drains down then fills back up (fish are inside the cistern)

Now IF the cistern is attached the the MAINS water supply, they will be filled back up with Water full with chlorine. (now I'm sure the toilet is flushed more than once) which is obviously no good, because adding chlorine would be pointless.

However if the toilet is filled from a Tank in the loft
that water sits stagnant in the tank for some time. (until a bath is run or toilet flushed) these tanks are large so 90% of the water will be stale and nasty (yes chlorine will be removed over time) but have you ever seen inside one of them?
all the crap that accumulates at the bottom? I have seen dead birds and polystyrene inside there.
gunk that you can pick up.
So I would assume its not the most nice experience of all.

I think it's a disgrace, Although yes they would get frequent water changes....


Although you can get ones that are separate from the actual cistern they still are horrible IMO

as I said at the bottom of my post,
you can get some that are separated but the size of space they have is very limited and just down right cruel in my eyes.

You can but I truly just saw it and become annoyed and didn't look at it properly
I think things like that are morally wrong,
and frown upon people with stuff like that.

I heard of that. Plant it well and do it Takahashi Amano style. He kept neons in a one gallon aquarium. Still, bettas breathe air...

This tank wont apeal to women much since they sit down most of the time....


This is the stupidest thing i have ever seen and then having it win some award makes me think how stupid people are in this world. I wish we could go back a few million years and watch stupid people die young so they cant make babies and slowly spread their stupidity around. Stupid.....

A fish on top of a toilet, doesnt that make us all feel better, for people who have infections and are screaming in pain while peeing, then they see there fish and get all happy and there infection is gone. Or people who have an enlarged prostate and wont pee, but when the see fish the prostate shrinks and pee flows out. What kind of a stupid idea is putting a fish tank in a toilet. I hate stupid people. Stupid.....

They say it provides nice attractions in the house, its a freakin toilet, no one is attracted to a toilet, what if someone forgot to flush and then you invite all these guests over to see dead fish from an overstocked tank and a piece of (i'll try and keep the vulgar terms out) poop in the toilet, what an attractive house!

And showing a picture of 5 goldfish in a 2.2 gallon tank, i want to go over there and kick the stupidity out of their stupid minds and make sure no stupid people will buy this stupid thing. Stupid....

I must be one of the stupid people then b/c I think it's pretty neat. I'd never put goldfish into it of course. Maybe a betta w/ some plants or some other suitable fish... but I still think it's a cute idea.
It's not harming the fish. It has a filter, has everything a regular tank has. I don't see what the big deal is to think it's such a bad idea.

its just the fact that its a fish tank on a toilet, there is nothing "cool" or "special" about it. Plus it would be too small for any fish IMO.
