Fish Losing Color

Please help! I have 3 platys that are all losing their orange body color. 2 of them seem healthy, but the third burrows herself under the rocks. Her fins are also a little ragged looking. Please help. What could this be?

Hi there,
I think generally (and I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong) when fish lose their colour it is due to stress.
What are your water parameters? Ammonia & NitrIte specifically.
Do you change your water regularly?
Do any of the fish have stringy white poo (just a bit off topic.... isn't it amazing that people can talk so freely about baby poo and fish poo and no one thinks anything is a bit strange..... )
How long have the fins been a bit ragged?
Are there any other fish in there that could be bothering the platies?
That is all I can think of right now, go ahead and post the amm & nitrite stats and I am sure someone will be able to help more shortly.

sounds like stress and poor health. Is she eating? Is she thinner than the others? Can you post a photo?

Yes please post water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph, what size tank and how many fish, and which type.
