Fish Looking Pale

Is it normal for fish to be very pale when the lights have been off for a while in the aquarium? When I turned on the lights after they had been off for about 7 hours I could barely see the spots on my checkerboard cichlid and my rasboras were looking pale as well. After about 10 minutes there colors started to look normal again. Is this normal?

yes a lot of fish are pale then when the lights go on brighten up again

what is the tank size ? , stock and water stats hun - ammonia , nitrites and nitrates - was the tank cycled before adding fish

i'm only asking as could be a water problem if not just the lights making them go pale

Tank is fully cycled and the water stats are perfect just checked them.

It is a 10 gallon tank with an aquaclear 30 running on it.

The stock is:

1 checkerboard cichlid
1 honey gourami
1 signifer rainbow
4 panda corys
3 rasbora espei

what are the actual results for the water can you post them please

also a checkboard cichlid need minimum 20 gallon tank

min length tank for rasboras is 20" and need a group 4+
