FISH LOOK BORED???????????????

HI I AM NEW TO THE WORLD OF FISH KEEPING AND I HAVE A SMALL TROPICAL FISH TANK. I HAVE 4 FISH IN TOTAL IN MY TANK 3 PLATYS AND 1 PLECO AN MY PLECO HARDLY EVER MOVES AND THE FISH SEEM BORED. DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS I AM GETTIN A 4FT TANK TOMMOTRROW SO HOPEFULLY DUNNO THANKS HOPE TO HEAR FROM SUM1 THANKS CHRIS.

Egads! Caps!!! (Sorry - pet peeve...)

Anyway, regarding the Pleco...Just speaking from experience with my pleco. They don't move much. They'll usually find a spot and sit there for what seems like hours. Also, if I understand Plecos right...they're nocturnal creatures, so you'll most likely be sleeping when they're working.

Well, if you're new to fishkeeping, you've come to the right place!

Becca is right, the pleco is nocturnal, so if you watch your tank after lights out, you may catch him swimming around, and it's really fun to see!

When you get your new tank started, add fish slowly, read a lot on this website, (like the articles on cycling), and I'm sure you'll find that they won't look so bored after a while.

Glad you found the site! (And, yeah, people usually don't like the all capital letters, looks like yelling, so maybe next time...)
