i have 7 tetra,s and just added 4 oto,s the tetras seem to be a lot more livelier but also seem to be swimming in a shoal(are they stressed with me adding otos) also changed the food which is bigger flakes and the seem to have got livelier since then,why would they suddleny shoal now and not before i added otos

Schooling is a defense mechanism that wild schools / shoals do in the wild to make them look bigger to other predators.
as they have company now they may shoal more.my cardinal tetras were my first fish and when i started to add other fish they got into a shoal too.nothing to worry about its just natural.
