hello this is my oldest guppy 1.5+ yrs old.
i suddenly found her laying on the side in her tank.
tank size: 75usg
tank age: 1.25 years
pH: 7.4
ammonia:0
nitrite:0
nitrate:0-2
kH:70+
gH:100+
tank temp: 74 F


Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):

Volume and Frequency of water changes: weekly

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: in her quarantine bag i have salt (1 heaped tbsp per gallon)

Tank inhabitants: guppies, swordtails, pearl gouramis, cories.

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): 2 guppies, but when they were still acclimating, i saw her on the floor

Exposure to chemicals: exposed to 1 heaped tbsp/gallon salt.

It is probably a swim bladder disease. Another possibility is she is in labor. Try to look for any signs of a disease and tell us or look it up.
 
At 1.5 years it's likely that it's just dying. If you reckon it's suffering then euthanise it. Likely to last a day or so in a condition like that.

thank you, she does not seem to be suffering, gill function normal and she lays on the plant now
some of the salt leaked into the tank what do i do, is it fine until i wc it out?
