Well the tank is an 85 gallon...but I just got a 100 gallon today with my paycheck. The 85 is turning into my Oscar tank. ;p Anyways, my fish had had Ick, but the signs were not serious enough to think that it would kill them....And I was treating them. <I believe I posted this somewhere else.> I believe maybe it was the stupid feeder fish that were the problem because They are not ever in very good health anyways and I was not out a lot of money (4 bucks!Aienu said:Placing 2-3 fish every week in a tank is not always best. For a tank to recycle and adjust to new fish I'd approximate about 4 weeks. So you're putting in more fish before your tank is even completely accomodated to what you've previously added the week before. Odd that your parameters aren't off. Also, how big is this tank? 22 Goldfish is a lot for most tanks, they are dirty dirty little fishies![]()
Well, unless it was something intrenal along with the Ich, then that's what did it. I know nothing contaminated the water because I use bottled. But I am not worried about it anymore, since the first post on this thread was made a while ago I have since got new Goldfish and they are doing extremely well.Lateral Line said:I'm with the others. Ich is irritating, but not usually instantly fatal. For a total wipeout, I would say it is extreely unlikely to have been the cause.
