Hey, Im creating this little journal thing to let you guys know whats new on my tanks(since they seem to always change) and my problems with them(also simnce I seem to have alot of them)
okay, well....I'm currently in the process of changing my tanks around since of the unknown deaths of my guppies. ( I lost eight and only 2 are left) I belive it was caused by fin nipping by my black tetras. I am currently cycling my 10 gallon tank and have moved my blood parrots into my 55 gallon tank. Every thing is going okay. i am also moving my bronze cories into the 10 gallon tank as a clean up crew. are they gonna eat alot of my fry? Since this tank is gonna be for breeding them. ;)

Hi again, i am think about breeding corys or someother kind of catfish. I live in Arizona and it rarly gets lest then 50 degrees in the winter. Right now it is about 100 degrees. Could corys live in my pond? I currently have koi, goldfish, misquito fish and 1 speckled dace(does anyone know if it is illegal to have one...I really donno how it got in there). The largest gold-fish is about oh... 4-5 inches I say. Could they live and breed in there withoput being ate by the goldfish or other fish in there?

Also I am breeding mollies and guppies inside and need some help on breeding tips. I also would like some info on catfish breeding and the easiest species to breed. Thankyou

hey, if anyone could answer my questions I would very much appreciate it! Also, has anyone raised thier own food for thier fish? Like bloodworms or something>

In the catfish cradle there is lots of info on breeding cories. Also inchworm is the resident fountain of knowledge on this topic and she does love to have someone interested in it, so perhaps you could read her posts on this or submit your own post and she will come runnin :D

Thanks everyone. Well heres an update! I have just bought a male guppy from wal-mart(ya I know, but my LFS is currently out of guppies  ) anyways, he's in my quarentine/fry tank. But the weirdest thing happened yesterday. My female guppies gave birth to two little fry(there in a breeding net right now) But the males have been ded for like months like 4-5!!!!! can females hold sperm or whatever that long? Or what?!!! Well that was preety exciting! I have also moved my mollies into my pond so hopfully they could start breeding. ;)

Well, I know its been a while but heres an update! My mollies in my pond gave birth to about 25-30 fry. i also got a new orange molly and a new guppy from my LFS(ya my other male died! :-( ) Well he seems to be doing a whole lot better....I have also found two other litlle guppy fry!!! Thier in the net right now.....Everything else id doing OK! :D :hey: ;)
