hi again, last night my cory catfish jumped out of tank when i was going to feed fish, and nearly got eaten by the dog, it was bleeding but i cleaned it and put in a goldfish bowl (ONLY thing i had avalable! ) for meantime and it is swimming around fine now, is it safe to put back in my community tank again?

I would leave him in the bowl for a few days just to make sure he is ok. You will need to do daily 100% water changes to prevent the ammonia from building up since it isn't filtered. You probably also need to treat with some type medication. Something for external injuries. Not sure exactly which one, You can probably find something with a Google search.

Corys like to make air runs to the top and will occasionally jump. I just lost a tetra that jumped out earlier this week. Unfortunately, he jumped while we were at work and was dried up on the carpet when I found him. And they can get out through openings you would never dream were big enough.

wow, i never knew that.
changing the subject slightly, any1 heard of a type of small non-agressive angelfish?
i have and the word non-aggresive interested me, but i do not know if they actually exist.
does any1 know if they do/dont?

As for a non-aggressive angel, I've never hear of one. The are generally considered semi-aggressive simply because they are territorial but as a general rule they aren't a problem. They will eat smaller fish if they can get them in their mouths. Angels and neons don't generally work together for that reason but some people say they are ok together if you get the angels small so they "grow up" together. I have 4 angels in my 75 gallon with black phantom tetras and corys and have never had any problems. The angels seem to chase each other on occasion but I have never seen them bother any of the other fish. I love angels and would like to have a tank devoted entirely to them.

Edit: I don't know why I didn't think of Melafix since that's what I treated my bettas with. And the heater is a good idea. He will be fine in there for a few days even though he may be lonely.

I had a female guppy jump out of a tank last year, no idea how. I came in, there she was on the floor. I about flipped, picked her up and she was covered in lint and pet hair, kinda felt at the gummy bear stage, abit tacky...:sick: no gill movement, I was sure she was gone...and she suddenly slowly raises her fin into the air "helllllpppp me". I quicky put her in a plastic cup of aquarium water and while she was busy gulping down air from the water I set about de-linting her. It took 3 water changes in that cup and I found even more dust bunnies on her once I returned her to the tank. I don't know how but she never suffered any ill effects and was right as rain from then on. Rubber fish!
