Fish In Filter

my small blue damsel keeps getting sucked toward the corner of the tank where the filter sucks in the water. It cant really get out of the corner because the suction is too powerful. what should i do???

Can the filter power/outlet not be lowered at all ?

I had the same problem with a few of my smaller fish at the beginning and I lowered the power of the filter but tilted it slightly to ensure that the surface was still being rippled.

hi,
it cant be lowered because it is built into the back wall of the tank. i put a rock in front of it which seemed to help.thanks anyways.
