Fish In Filter

I have 1 danio who likes to 'live' in my filter, each time i open the filter he's in there, how he gets in i havent got a clue but he does.

any advice?

i have a jewel tank and filter.

If the filter is one of those juwel one's where fish can jump in them at the top, then thats how its getting it there. The tank should come with a little lid for the filter preventing this from happening.
I'm sure though that the fish does not like getting stuck in the filter though, if you have any agressive fish in your tank, that could be what is making it jump. What sorts of fish do you have and how many? How many gallons is teh tank?

the plastic lid to jewel filters have 2 holes for the wires this will be where they are getting in.my fire eel used to do it until i blocked them up with 2 stones

Tokis-Phoenix i have platies and danios in my tank as well as 1 Hong kong algie eater, they all seem to get on well i havent noticed any bullying they have been together for 6 months.
