Fish In A 1.44 Gallon Tank.

or a baby dwarf puffer but theyn when its full size,3 inches you will need to move it

where can you buy dwarf puffers? I may just get a betta. The guy at petco said platys, but I know perfectly well that thats not true. I have come not to trusting petco cause they have given me false info. They told me that a redtailed shark was okay in my fish tank. Also that a black ghost knife fish was okay in with all the fish in my tank. But they all pestered him, and scared him half to death so I had to rehome him. Now I just look up the fish before I get them, and make sure they are perfectly fine in my aquarium. :)

IMO a Betta and that's it, a Dwarf Puffer (even a baby) would not be happy in something that small

Betta, I would even suggest a bigger tank for it. Ghost shrimp or snails too, I suppose, but those aren't really... thrilling.

If you're into the dwarf puffer, get a larger tank. Petco does not carry dwarf puffers, only brackish varieties. Set up the 1.44 gallon tank as a snail colony to feed snails to the puffer.

Or, check out the nano plant tanks in the planted aquarium forum. Plant the aquarium, and get yourself a single ghost shrimp.

Ghost shrimp may be ok, my snail is in a 2gal with heavy filtration alone and it makes a big mess.

Maybe have a nano-planted tank?

Hmmmmmmm. I like the idea of the planted tank. I think it would look nice. If I see a betta in need I may put it in there too. I may look into getting a dwarf puffer tank set up sometime. They seem like cool fish. There is a petstore near me and may have them, they stock tons of cool fish. :)
