I currently have 5 firefish gobies, a mandarin, a scooter blenny and a watchman goby. Looking to add a fish or two to my 75 gallon tank. I recently got rid of my bi-color angel after he decided he did like eating soft corals. He was doing so well. ANY IDEAS??? i was thinking maybe two cardinal fish? they are cool looking.

What about a shoal of blue-green damsels? They would add a cool effect and very the colour up a bit!

yeah nice shoaling fish.. Green Chromis or if you fancy something a little brighter then a few anthias

yeah, definitely a good choice!
and not only the color, but the fact that they swim at the top
of the water column is something cool.

with 5 firefish gobies, a watchman goby, a mandarin, and a scooter blenny, how many anthias can I get? I have a 75 gallon tank.

I would say you could get away with 1 male and 4 females. that should be enough

Depending on what anthias it is you might get away with i would just be worried of the firefish not getting enough food and having a more risk of jumping out of the tank so if you do that you might want to watch for that. But that totaly depemds om what type of anthias you get.

Lyretails should be fine. Ifeed mine on Cyclopeze and the firefish have always had enough food.

I thought that Lyretail anthias needed at least 125 gallons of water. the male is very cool looking though with the spike on top of his head. I was looking at the dispar anthias. Know anything about those? but I do like the idea of the whole anthias idea... great looking fish, and you are right, a school of them would be great.

as far as cyclopeze. is 100 grams for 22.99 a good deal? it is the freeze dried kind. also navarre how do you feed your corals with it? do you soak it in water or just sprinkle it over the approperiate corals?

anthias's generally do need around 125 gallons when kept in groups of 6. anything less adn its all proportionate to teh amount of fish u have
