I'm after some ideas of what to put in my 70L planted tank. It has a pair of Blue Rams in there at the moment, which are going to be moved into another tank.
Ideally looking for a single species tank and something that would breed in my hard water.

TIA

Loads of possibilities, mollies, platy's, guppies, endlers, cories etc etc. Whatever takes your fancy really.

Was just looking for a bit of inspiration really. Already have an endlers tank in the same room.
Never really been a big fan of mollies or platys.
Cheers

Parrots ? Could always try something like angels or maybe even puffers ? Discus ?
Not sure how big they grow really, but none of those are great community tank fish so I presume would be good for species tank.

I think discus are a bit of a pain with food ect, but lovely looking fish.

nooo! no angels or discus they will grow far to big for a 70 litre!! why not get a shoal of various tetras?

Think I might go for a dwarf puffer. Are puffers hard to breed?

Hehe - I did say not sure on size.

Not sure, post in the cichlids sections and ask...
