Hello, I'd like to know which cichlid specie this actually is. Unfortunately the pictures are a little too dark and quite vague, I might add a few better ones if it's too unclear to identify. Thanks in advance!

I would say it's probably one of the P.Elongatus genus - have a look through the profiles in this link and see if you get a match:

Thanks, it looks a bit like a Pseudotropheus sp. "Aggressive Grey Head", although i doubt it would be this specie. (I still think it could be a vaguely coloured male metriaclima estherae, a red zebra cichlid).

From that pic it looks like a maturing male P.Lombardoi (Kenyi) goung through the colour change from blue to yellow.

Better pic again - almost certainly a male Kenyi.
