My swordtail, Golden Sage, wont come out of her cave.Ever since she had fry, she has been keeping in the dark cave.WHy does she do this?Help me please!

P.S. If you do respond dont expect a immediant answer, i have to leave for an hour or two.

Am i right in thinking you have only 1 male and 1 female (excluding fry). If this is the case, the answer is most likely to be Stress as stated above, with most livebearers a male will constantly harass females into breeding and becasue of this it is recomeded that you keep 3 females per male.

Oh ok.Thank you.And you are right, I ony have 1 female and 1 male excluding the fry.Thanks to both of you for your help.I will see if I can get more females.
