my female that is still pregnant is staying in one corner with all fins out the other little female I have in there won't leave her alone keeps biting her I don't know if my female is getting ready to have more babies or not what should I do

Do you have a breeding net to keep her safe from the abusive female? If she is pregnant, the stress may make her miscarry her fry

the breeder is occupied, unless u have another? do u have like a fish bowl or sumthin you can momentarily stick her in? guppys can do ok in a bowl for a lil while but do need heat maybe jus go to the store and buy one of those mini thermomitors for a bowl and stick the abusive one in there until you prego female is better.

the breeder is occupied by my sweet 23 little babies till I get something to put them in lol the phone rang and the lady i got the guppies from said she was giving me one of her 10 g tanks....the other female is pregnant to, shes also almost do they are leaving each other alone now, I just never seen my bigger female act like that hiding in a corner or at the back of the tank.... I left her with four males for two weeks not knowing you should have more females then males and she didn't miscarry that I'm glad for that was the whole reason for coming on here because I seen the males wouldn't leave her alone then I got interested in them more and everyone on here is just so nice I've tired other places and the people were so mean and some just wouldn't bother to write back... GuppyDude you are really nice and you've helped me alot I appreciate that...

lol np tomarrow, im going to get a pair of female guppys. they will be the first for my new tank. i havent found a good lookin male yet but im keeping an eye out.
id been in the store and saw them the day b4 last and thoght they were reaally cool. i think their sisters because of their simular coloration. their probably just a few months old im guessing because their only a lil over a centimeter long. ill have to send you pictures wen i get them.

That would be cool to see the new guppies pic when you get them...
I love my little guppies all of them!!!! My husband told me if I keep it up he's going to have to get me a big tank now lol ....I'll have another 10g in a few days the lady thats giving it to me has to take her gold fish to her brothers first I thought that was nice of her. we went to wal-marts last night lol and had to go past the fish and the first thing my husband said was they have them tanks way over stocked I started laughing. .... lol


My little fishies are still doing great.

The one thing I wanted to ask was the one with the fin missing (on its side) does anyone think it will live and if it does will it be alright later on

are u talkin about the gimpy fish that was in ur new batch of fry? i didnt know it was missing a whole fin. if he is taken care uf he will live but if hes missing a whole fin he's bound to have other problems as well. but if he does live to become and adult he wont do well.

gimpy fish shhhh he/she thinks its just fine ..lol.. its most of the fin but really hard to see it ..lol.. he's being picked on kinda now just by one other baby fish... I seen gimpy eating a little bit ago..lol I like the name??? you named him lol.. he swims alright once he's up and about what should I do with him??

theres not alot u can do rely. if hes getting around and doesnt seem sick then he should do just fine.

my preggers fish do the same thing. they kindof rest just before they have their fry and they like to hide. the guppy will pock at her and pick on her. but its not too bad because its no all the time and she just swims away from the guppy.
