The fish are two swordtails both have clamped fins and one has been on the bottom all day. The other one i saw flicking against the rocks a little while ago. So i did a water change and now both are swimming around but still have clamped fins. Both of these fish are new i bought them 5 days ago and i also have cories in the tank so i can't add salt and won't be able to get to the LPS for a few days :( . I have no clue what to do  . Could i give them salt baths in a bucket or something like that?

YOu could try salt baths, as they can help, however, it is very important to figure out what the fish have and to begin treatment. I am assuming you cannot isolate the fish? Also when a fish becomes sick, it is very important to check your water stats. What is your ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and pH levels?

As for the flicking, that can be a number of things, from parasites to a bacterial infection to poor water quality irritating their skin. Do you see any white spots, gold dusting, are they breathing fast, do their gills look red and irritated, can you see any fuzz growing on their skin? Anything else out of the ordinary?

Need to no stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, how many gallons and how many fish and which type, don't add salt with scaless fish in the tank, if you have added new fish with out quarantine them could of fetched a parasite into the tank.
