Your tank looks really good and should make your fish feel secure!!! Besides the plants I especially like that rock on the left, it looks very natural, or did you get that at a store?

I love FF2's suggestion, that may just be what your "wedgies" are looking for!

Thanks for the compliment, makes for a nice change here! The rock on the left came from a shop and is real, everything is real in there except for the white "bridge" on the right side of the tank.

I'd recommend some floating plants, as they seem to make most fish feel more secure.

yeah, this is what i did when my neons were acting very skittish, ironically now that ive heavily planted my tank, i see the fish a lot more than before when there were a few plants
