Hi fish friends, I’ve recently rescued 2 goldfish there beauty’s I’m so glad I’ve managed to help these guys I was never a fish person but the love and joy these guys bring me already they’ve definitely brought out my love for fishes.

(((((Can people please tell me the best places to buy plants to put into my tank I want my bigger tank to be full of only fresh plants and I’ll try my best to have everything natural so no shop bought painted plastic stuff))))

I’ve recently moved them from I think it was either 40 or 60l tank into a 94l tank with fresh plants etc and I will be getting a 300l tank to then transfer them in to that, my budget was about £500 ish so I found the 300l online but there’s 3 reviews 2 good 1 bad so I’m going to go out tomorrow and have a look at pets at home &dobbies as these are the only shops I know of that I can get a big tank, does anyone know the best place to get a big tank the bigger the better within my price range please I may up the price a little if that tank is bigger

Goldfish are omnivores, so they will eat plant matter (basically anything they can fit in their mouths), but there are some species that will do well alongside them. Look for Anubias and Java ferns. These are epiphyte plants, meaning they don't need to be buried in the substrate. If you want something tall and planted into the substrate, have a look at Vallisneria.

Ebay - Multiple sellers ( A couple I use https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/k2aqua / https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/floraticaliveaquaplants)
Pro shrimp - Mansfield area - https://pro-shrimp.co.uk/
Horizon AQ - Darlington area - https://www.horizonaquatics.co.uk/

As for tanks, Maidenhead aquatics usually can order you tanks off their site for pickup at a store. Also look for locally based stores as some may have deals on select tanks that could be cheaper than big box stores. Your other option, which is riskier, is 2nd hand marketplaces.

Any questions do ask away :)
