10g is a bit small for any of those suggestions really. Why not make a species only tank and have 2 - 3 dwarf puffers?

10 gal is fine for starting out. but i'd look for some other mix. the 5 kuhlis is okay, but keep in mind, cories really should be in groups of 3 or more. so either a group of kuhlis or a group of cories would work in a 10. i kept 4 pandas in my 10 along with mollies. the betta with the cories or the kuhlis would be fine, i believe someone else on the forums has kept that combo without issue. i wouldn't do upside cats in a 10 personally. you might be able to do a group of bottom dwellers, the betta, and maybe a livebearer such as a colorful platy or a molly (i'd avoid guppies, as you may know, the betta could see them as a betta and you'd have problems). i keep a betta with a molly in a 5 gal without issue. you could do a b-nose plec in a ten, but keep in mind all plecs are major poopers so you'll need to keep on top of cleaning and have good filtration.

when youre looking at combos, try and keep in mind the level the fish tend to hang out at most, so you don't over-do it on any one level (bottom dwellers for example).

thanks ppl. mam thats cool, ive considered that and just might get the khulis and the frogs with the betta... and i already have a cory panda in my other 10 so i might transfer it.... i dont know
