Hi
We're getting close to introducing fish to the tank and have come down to these fish. What does everyone think? or any more suggestions?

Bolivian Ram x 2
Red Spot Sevrum x 1
Red Hook Silver Dollar x 6
Angel x 2
Ghost Knife fish x 1

Current stock from previous tank:
Silver Hatchet x 5
Platys x 5
Plec x 2 (to be rehomed somewhere as making to much mess)

Unfortunately that tank isnt large enough for a severum (for life) or a Ghost knife fish. Sevs' need a 75g minimum and the ghost a 5ft IMO. The silver dollars also get to a really large size, so for long term health, a 5ft for those too.

Im confused now lol...550ltr around 145usg? would be fine wouldnt it?, not sure on the compatibilty but im sure it's big enough for all the fish just maybe not the compatible issue.

My mistake, thought it said 55g, minx bad and still half asleep, disregard the post.

In which case, yes they are all fine.

Going back to bed now me thinks

Hi
I also think you may be getting your wires crossed. The tank is the following dimensions:
160cm long {5ft 3inch } x 55cm deep {1ft 10inch} x 60cm tall {2ft}
Here are pics of my tank

This works out to 528ltr and 139.44 USG or 116.11 UKG

I know Im sorry, I did post above you, must have posted at the same time. Forgive a silly old woman?

You might be better off with 4 angels, because with just two, one could bully the other (unless you were lucky and got a pair), with 4 the aggression would be spread out. Otherwise that looks like a good stocking, although I know nothing about hatchet fish, but I assume they wouldnt be bothered by anyone. You also wont have a problem with the platies breeding, because the severum alone will happily eat the fry :)

I would also add some corydoras for the bottom or maybe some geophagus species.
