Fish For 25 Gal

now due to my friend taking my sic sev off my hands when i have cleaned out the tank and made sure it is safe i was wondering a few suggestions for it i was looking at a salvini as they only grow around 6" .....

You may be able to put one Salvini max. in a 25 gallon. Be sure to keep on top of the water changes, as 6 inches of fish in a 25 gallon can produce a fair amount of waste.

I personally would look into some dwarf species just to be on the safe side. See if you can find any locally.

Whats the dimensions of the tank?

I wouldn't do a salvini, I think the tank isn't big enough and I've seen plenty of salvini that get past the 6" mark, even seen one that was bordering 10" and that was one impressive fish.

i have gone for a pair of convicts thought id have a go at breeding i have a male who is striped at about 4" and a pink female that is 2-3" its 32" long the tank just added a flower pot yday so hopefully see sum eggs soon they are already acting like a breeding pair following each other round inspecting the tank and flaring gills i have got a salvini in my 55gal instead with my blue acara and jack dempsey they are all bout 3" in their so theres no aggression so far
