Hi,

One of my fish is struggling to stay down in the water if that makes sense. Once it stops swimming it just floats to the top where normally it would just hover. Seems like its struggling but appearance wise there doesnt look like anything is wrong with It. It just seems unstable when swimming and when stops it floats straight to the top.

He is still eating.

Water temp and perams are all fine and no other fish are showing signs of this.

I have had the fish for around 2 years now. Its an oranda, i know this is tropical forum, but more often than not, its the same disease.

Fancy goldfish regularly have swim bladder and digestive problems. How often do you do water changes? What do you feed?

Water changes every week - 2 weeks. I feed them flakes, havent fed them peas for sometime but fed them peas last night but doesnt seem to have made an impact.

If it was me, I would increase the water changes to once per week (because goldfish are messy), not feed once per week and dose with a generic tonic/anti-bacterial medication, then see if that helps at all.

I would but my back hasnt let me do that for the last month or so. Its a 240 litre tank with 5 goldfish in, ill try feeding sweetcorn and peas today and see if that helps.

Could you get a long hose and drain straight into the sink, or something like that? Could you ask someone to help you?

I'd also recommend you switch from feeding flake to something else; a slow sinking pellet would be better so the fish doesn't ingest too much air while eating at the surface.
Hope the little chap improves soon :)
