Hey all,

I'm kinda new here to the forums, but not to the marine world. I've got a 500 litre all glass tank running a turboflotor Multi SL skimmer, along with a lot of live rock, and two 1200lph powerheads.

I'm using Weipro T5 units, covering the lighting side of things, with a total of 4 tubes for the whole tank.

Back to the subject...

We've got two anthias, green chromis, Humbug damnsels. And last night, I realised a formation of what appears to be eggs attatched to the glass (I was about to scrape them off with the glass cleaner). They are formed all over the tank, but the biggest formation I found and took some pics...

I have highlighed the formation, and sorry about the focus, it's hard focussing on something so small. Inside each of the eggs, I can see a white formation, inside the egg.

Has anyone got any clues as to what fish could have laid these, or are they infact fish eggs at all? -_-

Thanks all for your help!

As far as snails go, I've got two Nassarius, who are always up and about on the glass, along with loads of turbos, but they do not go up on the front side of the glass too much, where this picture was taken from.

If these are snail eggs, do I need to do anything in terms of aiding them, or should they do well by themselves? :shifty:

Sounds like its the Nassarius snails.

I never do anything to care for snails eggs, some must survive as I see quite a few tiny snails in my tank although most probably get eaten in their lavea stage its good food for the tank.

I've found an article below if you want some more details:

Just looked into some of the eggs, with a magnifying glass, and found something swimming inside some of them. A distinct feature of a tail is what I can see in at least two of them. They might be fish, I am unsure.
