Yesterday, I bought two fish, and one was really active, and the other was kind of staying in one spot. Then this morning I woke up, and they were both going around the tank. I left my room at about 9 am, and came back at about 11 am. When I looked at the fish tank, there was only one fish left. I looked around, and couldn't find it, then I opened the tank, and looked in/under decorations--no sign. -_- ! The one that is left is the one that was not as active, and now it just sits in the corner of the tank staring at, and sometimes attacking it's own reflection  . I think maybe, I unintentionally purchased a psycho for a fish. :-( . I'm speculating that the crazy one ate the other one, but I'm not sure if this is possible in two hours!...Any comments would be appreciated ;)

Some fishes are really good at hiding themselves away. If you have a filter compartment, have you tried looking in there?

Cluttery, that's what I was going to say!! lol Second, are they the same kind of fish, or different? and how big are they? And your tank for that matter...

Hmmm... it does amaze me how fish seem to disappear and then reappear.

Yesterday I stocked my 75 gallon tank after a 6-7 week fishless cycle. I added 3 rubber-lipped plecos and last night I saw two and today I saw one for awhile, but I have not seen hide nor hair of any of them since this morning. I have stared at the tank from all angles, but I just can't see them. I have a biowheel filter, they could not be in there, could they? I never thought to look there. I figured that they were shy and were hiding.

Cali, I hope that you find the other fish, what type of fish are they? Did you notive if the one that was staying still had an extra large belly. I used to have a pictus catcfish that ate a zebra danio and another smaller fish and his belly was large for about a day.
