I have had a tank for about 4 months now and only really know the basics I need help with my fish eating each other. About a month ago we noticed one of our neon tetras was dead and had pretty much everything eaten but his bones I wasn't too concerned as he was one of the smallest in the tank but now our biggest fish was eaten yesteday and i'm not sure if they are being killed then eaten or just dyeing of natural causes. We have a 80L tank our other fish are 4 Neon tetras 1 Angelfish 1 red finned shark and 2 gouramis. They are being fed well can somebody please help?

I'm not sure how big your RFS is, but if it's large it could be killing the fish then eating them, or the fish could be dieing (though I doubt by natural causes, test your water and post the results) and then being eaten.

If a fish dies of natural causes other fish generally will take advantage of a nutritious snack.
I'm not sure what the big fish that died was, so can't comment on that one. As for the neon it's possible the Angel decided to have it for breakfast, they're renowned for eating neons.
If your large fish was a gourami then it's possible there was some aggression between the gouramis or the angel and the gourami. Did you notice any chasing or harrassing going on ? I'm not sure how aggressive red finned sharks get but I'm pretty sure they'll have a nibble at any dead fish they find.
It could also be a space issue, the Angel, Shark and Gouramis can all get to a reasonable size. There may not be enough space in your tank for them to cohabit. What are the dimensions of the tank ?

I believe that Angelfish eat Neon Tetras naturally in the wild....

shark and angel fish. if big enough, potential predators. saying that, i know he isnt redfinned but my RTBS is a b***** and he is only about 3 inches if that
