My 75 gallon tank has been set up for 3 months, I tested my water at my lfs a couple days ago and my ammonia was 0.4 so I did a 60% water change I did another one today and added artificial bacteria.
What should I do???
Please help

Keep up with water changes and keep testing the water. The filter will sort itself out :) And I wouldn't waste money on the artificial bacteria, especially if its the liquid kind. There is no media known that can keep bacteria alive in anaerobic conditions at room temp for that long. So chances are that product doesnt work.

Thanks, so water changes maybe twice a week should do?
I have fish in there?

You should do a water change anytime the ammonia is .25ppm or greater. If you do not have your own test kit, I would advise daily until you can get one.

Ok thanks, the master kits cost 80 dollars Australian. That's a bit to much for me. Any recommendations?

I would suggest that you need your own test kit, so you can see what your water parameters are whenever you want, without having to rely on an LFS being open and without having to rely on the LFS staff member knowing what they're doing.

Liquid-based test kits seem to be more reliable than paper strips.

In your current situation, I recommend testing every day, and if your levels for ammonia or nitrite are over 0.25ppm, doing another 60% change (or maybe bigger, depending on how far over 0.25ppm they are.

When you can go a week without having to change water, then you can go back to weekly tests and changes.

EDIT: Having just seen your latest post, then just get ammonia and nitrite tests for now, then when money allows, get nitrate and pH.
