This all started 2 days ago when my sterbai cory came out of hiding ive had them for more than a year but when i put the serpae tetra in about 12 months ago the sterbai went into hiding under the bogwood and would only come out when it was dark.I started with 10 serpae tetra but for some reason that i could never figure out they died off at the rate of 1 every 6-8 weeks they all looked healthy then 1 would look a bit dark then die in a few days. This was before the albino and gold cory where added.Anyway 2 days ago 1 of my 3 serpae died this was the first in about 2 months, then the same day all the sterbai are out looking normal i thought it was because there was only 2 tetra left. That night i was watching the tank alot because of the change and 1 of my amano shrimp died in front of me, it just rolled over on back legs wiggled for a few secs then died. When i was getting it out i noticed the 2nd serpae was dying lying on sand shaking,it died a min later. Now i tested water all as above. I searched the tank and accounted for everybody except 1 gold cory and a cpl of amano shrimp, nothing to worry about i thought shrimp hard to find as lots of plants in tank and the cory was quite young so smallish and hard to spot.Yesterday morning got up 1 sterbai dead 1 gold cory dead and 1 still missing at this point i could only find 2 amano shrimp so 3 of them missing. At this point i tested water same results so i changed about 90% and had a good search in tank found the other gold cory dead and a sterbai not looking good. Now i get up today 2 sterbai dead 1 gold cory dead and 2 male endlers missing. Now im down to 6 albino cory 3 sterbai {1 of these dying},2 endlers 2 amano and i can still see a few cherry running around.Sorry about long story but that has been whats going on dont know what to do, the albino cory and 2 endlers look fine but the sterbai dont their fins seem like they brushed back. Also i forgot to say the day the first fish died none of the wafers i put in the nite before had been touched this has never happend before always all gone in morning,so none of the fish have been eating but the amano seem to be. Any advice on this would be great thanks Mick.

The dead fish / shrimp could have created an Ammonia spike missed by your water test, whether it would be sharp enough to hurt all those fish, i couldn't say. Did the dead Gold Cory you couldn't find, look like it had been eaten / nibbled when you found it? If so, there's a possibility it had a disease or parasites, that have been eaten or spread once it died? Shrimps in general are very susceptible to water parameters i believe, which would point more to the first case. Also, they shed their exoskeleton, is it possible they had done this and are not dead?
