Hi Guys

I got home from work today and found out my little cousin has emptied some salt into my tank. I would say going by how much is left he has tipped in around 1-2 pints worth of pure table salt. This has been in the tank for a few hours id say. The fish are now swimming on 45 degrees

Am i too late?

Its a 200 litre tank btw

wow.... ok what fish are in the tank? species like loaches and corys are very sensitive to salt but other fish can tolerate it in small amounts for short periods.
i would do a big 90% water change to try and get as much salt out as possible and take it from there. leave it an hour or so and do another smaller water change again to reduce the remaining salt content.

good luck, fingers crossed for you

Water changes. I would remove most of the water.
Even do a gravel vac.
Water changes are the only way to remove salt.

How are the fish now.
I would have a word with his mum. Children should be learn't not to touch other people's belongings.

I would only advise a large water change if your tap ph is same as the tank.
Also match temp No more than two degree's either way.
