Fish Dying

Hello all. I am very new to this so I will try my best to explain what is going on and any help would be great. I have a 29 gallon tank and I bought 10 Platies to put in it. The tank has a filter, heater, and an air stone. I have had the fish for about 2 1/2 weeks and now they are all dead. I have checked the water, the temperature, and i don't know what else to do. any advice?

Welcome. did you cycle the tank before adding fish? if not then follow instructions in THIS topic which is about cycling which is very important to the running of any tank. you should also invest in a test kit. many on here reccommend the API master kit which may seem a little pricey but is very accurrate and works out better in the long run.
