Fish Dying, Need Help - Water Stats

I will try to do a 50% now, although I usually make it a 40% as fish start to get upset when it goes down that much!

Then another one in 2 days time, and I will post back the results after that.

I understand what you mean about measuring the increase over 7 days, but my testing kit isn't precise - I have to pretty much guess colours

I bought a decent testing kit and this seems to better.

New Tank Results:

Nitrate - 40 NO3 (mg/l)
Nitrite - 0 NO2 (mg/l)
8 GH
3 KH
7.6 pH

I am unsure on that Nitrate reading though - I hate having to guess which colour matches best, but I asked other people's opinions and they reckon it was on the 40
