Fish constipated and sits at bottom

I have a betta thats really constipated and sits at the bottom of the tank breathing rapidly. I have seperated him and put 3 betta size peas in the container but he just sits their and breathes rapidly and won't move over to it. What should I do now because I don't want to lose him.

Sorry I was just posting it here and see if other people would say suggest the same thing. Now just waiting to see what happens.

Try a normal salt bath if you don't have epson salts, if the fish isn't eating the only other thing to do it the cod liver oil, fingers crossed.

I've got bad news. I just got home and the betta is dead.
