Hi there, I have recently added some Neon tetras to my tank and for some reason they are constantly up the top. Any ideas on why this is, I dont want them hurt
What size tank, tankmates, water test results, and how long has the tank been running? Without this info it's tough to figure out what may be the problem.
Without knowing this, it could be an ammo/nitrite spike due to adding new fish. More aeration, by adding an airstone or dropping the water level an inch or so if you have a hob filter, & daily water changes will help.
No neons shouldn't be at the top of the tank, they are bottom to mid dwellers, post water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, what was the ph of the store to your tank, and how long did you climatise them for.
