Hey everyone

Im thinkin about getting 2 silver sharks and 2 clown loaches.

Will these fish get on?

Will they also get on with angelfish, pearl goramis, corys and rainbowfish?

Is having just 2 silver sharks ok as iv read 3 is the minimum?

And are clown loaches as prone to whitespot as everyone says?

I kno im asking alot of questions but if anyone can please help me it would be very much apprechiated.

Thank you

Paul

6 is a minimum for both species. Both should have at least a 6*2*2 ft aquarium. No, it is best to not mix either with small fish.

I agree.

Silver shark grows quite big and are very fast swimmer (saw a group in a LFS). Clown loaches also grows very large. Again saw a "massive" one in another LFS. Both are schooling fishes so needs to be in group if you have a big enough tank then yes.

One (I) really don't appreciate the importance of the size of tank until you see fully grown specimens of these fishes.

Really?

Thats a shame. I have a 260L tank and was hoping that would be big enough. But if u say they they need bigger tanks and need to be in bigger schools then il take ur word for it.

You could get something like 8 dwarf chain loaches or 6 zebra loaches for a tank that size...
