I was searching the web, and I found this Fish Compatibility chart.

It's easy to read and is accurate. It may take some time getting used to the font size. If your starting a new tank or want a new fish, but your not sure if it will work, this is a MUST READ!

Note: If someone can sticky this to the top, that would really be appreciated. Thanks

The only thing that I didnt understand on that chart was: Is the blank area all "Y"s or "N"s?

 Just have a look again and you'll notice that the table leaves those areas blank since they are already addressed (read the table from left to right and up and down!!..all shall be revealed then!! :))...its a pretty good table alright!!

yeah that could be quite useful, if you look hard then there is a freshwater and brackish list too on that site :)

My best marine LFS uses that chart in his shop. Very useful.

Chart is excellent and helps alot, we have had Chromis and Damsels together (bought at the same time) from our LFS and they never said a thing about the damsels being agressive towards the Chromis. We got up one morning and the Chromis had chunks of flesh missing where the Damsel had been biting it!! Thanks. :good:

Add it in the "realm of knowledge" thread ;). We allready have enough stickies :)

Go to marine and reef chit chat, it's one of the stickies there. :)

OK. This will have to stay here cause I can't move the post. I'll just make a new one.

Agreed it can be useful for most things, but liveaquaria is the king of blanket statements.

Perhaps to have a more well rounded (and totally cooler) knowledge of fish compatability, one should read MY article after one reads liveaquaria's chart. I for one would be lost without at least one tetraodont in the reef tank.

Umm

Most of those fish recommended as being "Y" for frogfish are actually risky at best, deadly to both fish at worst.

These sorts of charts are ok for common fish, but for the rarer stuff they are as much use as a chocolate tea pot.
