Not entirely sure where to put this but here goes;

Any good books on fish you can recommend?

I've just picked up 'The Perfect Aquarium' by Jeremy Gay and 'The Interpet Manual of Fish Health' by Dr Chris Andrews.

Any opinions on these?

I might be a little old school what with the internet but I love a good book to refer back to.

The fishlopaedia is a good one.

Tbh things change in the hobby so often that no fish book will stay up to date - hence a reliable source on the Internet is probably the best thing :/

I only buy books for fish species so if that's what you wanted ill have to check which ones I have - just about to start watching the exorcist 2010 - a recent one!

Can take everything with a pinch of salt. Jeremy Gay is the PFK magazine guy - his book is pretty new so hoping it will be good.

Creepy >.<

I like overall books. I got the Interpet one for as well as health issue look ups it goes in depth about environmental effects on their heath and sciencey stuff.

Is the Fishlopedia the tall thin book with like no pictures? Aha *blush*

I have the Dorling Kindersley 'Encyclopedia of Aquarium and Pondfish', which is quite good.

As with anything in print these days, info on the internet is going to be more up to date and detailed, but I like flicking through and looking at the pictures and seeing which fish I like
