Hello all - we need some help/advice please!!

Over the past couple of months we are noticing a number of our larger fish (4" or more) are disapearing and being eaten - we have found remains of bones etc.. We have a large tank(75 g) and have lost 3 silver sharks, tiger loach amongst others. We still have a number of fish in the tank ranging from neon tetras through to clown loaches. The only cluprits we can think of are two plecs - one 5" long and two snakeskin gouramis - again one approx 6". We check the tank daily, test the water regularly etc - surely we would see these fish if they were dying and be able to dispose of them ourselves!! It would seem they are being hunted down overnight!! - Any ideas on which fish might be responsible??

All views welcome!!

Ok, need more info first :) ;

a. What and how many fish do you have in total in the tank including ones that have died over the last couple of months?
b. What exactly are your recent test results for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates and how do you go about tank maintance and how often?
c. Are you positive that there are no deseases that are to blame for your fish deaths or that the fish have not dsiplayed any unsual behavior/symptoms before death?

What i can say though is that the plecs are definatly not to blame, although most plecs had vegetarian habits, practically all plecs are scavengers to a certain extent and while they may eat a fish after it has died, they never kill fish themselves, but simply take advantage of a dead high protein meal on offer.
