One large fish is being bitten on the head repeatedly!!!!

I've had this fish in the aquarium for quite a while, and I've never had problems with it until today. Three other fish have been biting at it's head, and the top of its head looks all broken and thin and unhealthy. I removed it fromt he tank and put it in a separate bowl, but I don't know what to do now. I'm afraid that they are going to kill him if I put him back in.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

What size tank, what fish do you have in it, and specifically what kind of fish is it that is being attacked? Also water Params would be helpful.

It is a 26 gallon tank, and I have all community fish. There are a few tetras, barbs, and other regular aqurium fish from Petco. It is a cichlid being attacked.
The last time i checked the water, it was normal levels for everything.

Could you be more specific than a few and it maybe a good idea to check the water now. This will give the experts more to go and give you a valued opinion .Otherwise we could all speculate and it will not help your fish. It maybe compatability it could be the fish is ill it could be anything?
I realise its a pain but it does help. Thanks.

OK no problem.
There are 3 neon tetras, 2 tiger barbs, 2 albino corey catfish, one suckerfish (not sure what it's called), 2 molys, 4 platys.
It is a molly attacking another molly, and a platy is joining in on the fight. I just checked the water and it was normal.

I guess you need to see if you have enough space but Mollies need to be kept in a male/ female ratio/

Another thread Male Ballon Mollies Fighting they seem to fight not only for terrtory but the besr woman!!

Go to live bearers they really know more and good luck.

What is normal for your water? could we have actual numbers ph- amonia- nitrites- nitrates-

It was actually my brother who tested the water and said it was normal, and he just left. I will post the numbers as soon as i get them, and thanks you for your help. If you aren't on when i put the numbers up, I will just go in to a pet store and ask for help there. Thanks!
